Coatings

Although there are powder coater in Liverpool applications where waterborne liquid paint is the best solution for painting of a product due to substrate material, existing equipment, or piece price costs, powder coating, with its clear environmental advantages, is often a preferred option and should be considered when evaluating a finishing operation. The benefits of higher paint utilisation through reclaim, reduced waste disposal costs, and being a user- friendly material are all important factors that point to powder paint as a more environmentally friendly finishing process.

POLYESTER

Polyester is the base polymer for the majority of our standard coating materials. It’s a very stable, durable polymer that gives excellent corrosion resistance and a smooth or textured finish depending on your requirements.

NYLON

Superior wear, abrasion and chemical resistance are all characteristics of nylon coatings. They also give excellent thermal properties and can provide a “warm to touch” finish ideal for handrails etc. The product is more expensive than standard coatings but this extra cost is easily recovered in maintenance and cost of replacement calculations.

PERFORMANCE POLYMER ALLOYS

Technically define as “ a class of polymer blends, where the addition of the second polymer is tailored to provide controlled morphology and thus specific performance characteristics.” Simply put, a range of coatings that provide a high-performance system to protect your products in more extreme environments. Protection against chemical, acid, alkali, heat and low temperature can all be provided depending on the type of coating you require.
